The Request for Proposals (RFP) process for two-year funding (1/1/20 – 12/31/21) in the Financial Stability and Basic Needs focus area will open in March 2019. The RFP Process is open to all eligible agencies; please review the “Eligibility Criteria for MUW Funding” document below. MUW invites applications for funding for programs with activities and measurable outcomes that align with the focus area strategies.
Currently funded partners with programs that do not align with the Financial Stability and Basic Needs focus area are eligible for one-year (1/1/20 – 12/31/20) Transition funding. Applications for Transition funding will open to eligible partners in May 2019. Transition funding will be phased out by 2021.
All applications will be reviewed by MUW staff and teams of trained Investment Team volunteers. Investment Teams evaluate all aspects of applying programs, including program structure and activities, performance measurements, organizational support and leadership, and fiscal strength. The Teams generate funding recommendations for MUW investment. Awards for 2020 will be announced in August 2019.
