The Monadnock Region became Eli Rivera's adopted home when he moved to Keene in 1989. During the first couple of years, he worked for several agencies before joining the City of Keene as a police officer in 1991. After many years of supporting MUW as a committee member and donor, Rivera, now Sheriff of Cheshire County, joined the board of Monadnock United Way in 2019.
