Monadnock United Way Raises Over $72,000 on GivingTuesday, Fueled by Community Generosity and Challenge Grants
Keene, NH — Monadnock United Way (MUW) is thrilled to announce that our community rallied together this GivingTuesday to raise more than $72,000 in support of families, children, and individuals across the Monadnock Region.
This extraordinary achievement was made possible thanks to the generosity of our community who raised $36,439—which was matched dollar for dollar by challenge grants provided by John and Jean Hoffman and Guyer and Son Roofing. Their leadership inspired others to give, helping MUW surpass its GivingTuesday goal of $30,000 and deepen its impact.
Sincere thanks go to MUW’s Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Group made up of board and community members. Together, they raised $12,444 in individual contributions, further amplifying the impact and demonstrating the powerful effect of working together toward a goal.
“We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support shown on GivingTuesday,” said Katie Gardella, Director of Resource Development and Community Engagement. “These funds will go directly toward strengthening vital programs and community initiatives that ensure everyone in our region has the opportunity to thrive.”
The $72,878 raised will support MUW’s ongoing work to improve the lives of people throughout the Monadnock Region, including efforts focused on early childhood success, youth well-being, and economic mobility for individuals and families.
Monadnock United Way extends heartfelt thanks to every donor, volunteer, and partner who made this GivingTuesday a success. Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient community.
As we move forward, Monadnock United Way remains committed to making a lasting impact in the Monadnock Region. The Our Monadnock, Our Impact campaign ends on December 31. If you missed GivingTuesday and would like to contribute to the campaign, click here or text MUW to 41444.
