VISION

We envision a community where everyone receives an education that enables them to achieve their fullest potential.

 GOALS

  • Address basic needs that support educational success
  • Retain local graduates and attract skilled workers with young families to the region

Our Impact in 2023

  • Through the Child Care Expansion Grant with Keene State College, 17 childcare providers enrolled in the Child Development Associate credentialing program to become lead teachers in their centers, which will open childcare spaces in 2024.
  • 28 classrooms and 454 children in 7 community childcare centers are benefiting from the Pyramid Model, which helps teachers, caregivers, and families promote healthy social and emotional skills in young children.

Children are ready to learn by the time they enter school. MUW measures this goal by tracking the number of schools in our service area scoring at or above proficient in the 4th grade English Language Arts Exam.
