Monadnock United Way Announces Co-General Campaign Chairs

 

Keene, NH — The Monadnock United Way (MUW) has announced the appointment of Ben Wheeler and Sarah Kossayda as the Co-General Campaign Chairs (Co-GCCs) for its 2024 annual fundraising campaign, Teaming Up for Tomorrow. As Co-GCCs, Wheeler and Kossayda will lead the campaign to raise awareness and funds to address the Monadnock Region’s most pressing social needs.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have Ben and Sarah," said Sophie Carney-Brenner, Donor Relations Manager for Monadnock United Way. “This year's campaign theme showcases MUW's dedication to collaboration and partnership in creating effective and enduring positive change.”

Inspiring Advocates for Community Impact

Ben Wheeler dedicated over 30 years to the banking industry in the Monadnock Region and has recently retired. A lifelong Jaffrey resident, Wheeler’s commitment to community service includes involvement with Monadnock United Way, Rotary Club, hospital boards, scholarship funds, and more. He holds a BS from Plymouth State College and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.

Sarah Kossayda brings over 25 years of marketing leadership experience spanning healthcare, technology, and construction. A Trinity College graduate with an MBA from Simmons University, she currently serves as the Marketing Director for Keene State College. Kossayda, who lives in Harrisville, is passionate about the Monadnock Region, having served on numerous boards and committees, including Monadnock United Way. She also currently holds a trustee position with the Monadnock Conservancy.

“Both Ben and Sarah have a strong history of volunteerism with Monadnock United Way and other community organizations. They are the perfect representatives to help communicate MUW's impact on our community across 30 initiatives and programs focused on children, education, and financial stability,” Liz LaRose, MUW President shared.
