The MUW family is deeply saddened by the passing of Ken Jue. Since moving to the Monadnock Region in the late 70’s, Ken held just about every volunteer position throughout the years. Ken’s most notable volunteer roles include serving as General Campaign Chair in 1995; as a Board Member from 2015-21; and as Board Chair from 2018-20.

Ken was a tireless champion of MUW and a stalwart leader, fundraiser and mentor and friend to staff. He had deep roots in the community and was a strategic thinker, collaborator and powerful force for good. Countless organizations and individuals across the region are better and stronger from his deep involvement and caring nature.

In 2021, when Ken rotated off the Board, Board and Staff presented him with the inaugural Ken Jue Award. The Award is presented annually to someone who exemplifies the qualities embodied by Ken—commitment to community, deep collaboration, dedication to inclusion and ensuring that people have the opportunity to participate in solutions affecting their lives.

Thank you, Ken for the legacy you have created and the guideposts you’ve given us all to follow.

With Love and Affection,

Your MUW Family of 40+ Years
