Monadnock United Way is seeking community volunteers to help with its Investment Process. In 2019, volunteers will be needed to review funding proposals from human service agencies focused on financial stability and basic needs programming, as well as funding proposals from existing MUW partners that are part of a transition group.
Each Investment Review Team will have 7-9 members, as well as a Team Leader who will help facilitate the process. Volunteers will need to be able to commit 60-70 hours of their time between April and August to receive training, review applications, conduct site visits, hold deliberations and ultimately produce investment recommendations for the MUW board.
In addition to providing an invaluable service to the community, this opportunity provides volunteers with professional development skills in leadership, facilitation and project and schedule management, as well as expands participants’ community networks.
More than 30 volunteer opportunities are available. For more information about the volunteer roles, contact Kate Cote at firstname.lastname@example.org or 603-352-4209 ex. 23.
