Impact Monadnock, the signature early childhood initiative of the Monadnock United Way, has received funding through Child Care Aware of NH and the CARES act. This funding will be used to build capacity around food access in the Monadnock Region. The goal is to connect regional childcare centers with Monadnock Farm Community Coalition (MFCC). Selected child care centers will have the opportunity to attend the monthly workgroup meeting to foster a stronger connection to local food access and food procurement in our community.
Impact Monadnock’s Birth through age 8 initiative seeks to support children and families in the Monadnock Region. By connecting families with young children in childcare to local food sources, we will increase their access to local healthy foods.
