Are you looking for a way to use your skills and give back to your community? Consider volunteering for the Monadnock United Way (MUW) Investment Process.
MUW is looking for volunteers from our community to help with the annual funding process for our partner agencies, and we’re hoping you might be interested.
MUW, in partnership with donors, nonprofits and citizens, has identified that children, education, financial stability and basic needs are priority focus areas for the Monadnock region. We are currently assembling Investment Teams to provide guidance to MUW and our community partners as we review funding requests that support these priority areas.
Volunteers who serve as part of the Investment Team will review requests for funding from human service nonprofits. The team will conduct site visits, hold dialog with agency/program staff, hold team deliberations and ultimately produce recommendations for investment to the MUW Board of Directors. Teams will increase the capacity of MUW, make new personal connections, use and enhance their professional skills and have fun along the way. This is a great opportunity to learn about our community and make a lasting difference!
