FOR MONADNOCK UNITED WAY FUNDING
The objective of the Allocations Process is to ensure fiscal/program accountability and to deploy Monadnock United Way financial support to maximize the resources available to agencies for services aimed at the most urgent social service needs of our region.
- The Allocations Committee makes recommendations for funding agencies and programs that have demonstrated the ability to deliver high quality needed social services. Programs that are in the planning stages are typically referred to the Venture Grant Committee.
- Programs that would duplicate an established and effective program already funded by the Monadnock United Way are not appropriate for Monadnock United Way funding.
- Requests from units of government and programs that have the primary purpose of providing formal education, cultural activities or religious indoctrination are not deemed appropriate for Monadnock United Way funding.
