Offers a range of opportunities to refresh and/or acquire
skills. A testing site for the GED exam, the program offers pre-tests and
a preparation course. Vocational skills and enrichment programs are
conducted in the evening. Directly related programs include Adult Basic
Education in reading, math and writing to persons 16 or older not enrolled
in school; Alternative Diploma Program for persons 16 or older not
enrolled in school where credit toward a diploma is awarded for previous
high school courses and life experience; Adult Tutorial Program, with free
tutoring for under-educated adults, as well as free tutoring and classes
in English as a Second Language.
