Hospice at HCS provides comprehensive end of life care to individuals and support for their families. Hospice at HCS uses a holistic approach, focusing on quality of life, and offering physical, emotional and spiritual comfort. An interdisciplinary team, including a hospice physician, hospice nurses, social workers, supportive services, chaplains, along with the patient's physician, family members and the patient, are involved in the decision-making. The team helps to manage pain and symptoms. Hospice at HCS is available for cancer and non-cancer diagnoses.
