During the 2007-2008 campaign several hundred volunteers worked in concert to raise $2,261,430 - which resulted in the Monadnock United Way meeting its annual goal.  These funds are distributed to local people based on the needs of the community.

The money raised in the Monadnock Region stays in the Monadnock Region.

For every dollar collected in this year’s campaign:

• 83.6% is budgeted to programs, agencies and community services.
• 11% is budgeted to the Monadnock United Way for operating expenses.
• 6.1% is budgeted as an allowance for uncollected pledges.
